Supplied Lens

The supplied lens is enabled for “night vision” using the Camera module integrated IR LEDs.

As such, the lens does not include an IR filter.

The supplied lens (from Jetsun) is a 5MP 1/2.7” with ~90° angle (horizontal):

For development, you can mount any lens with 1/2.7” image format.

For example, UCTRONICS sells M12 lens kits which are ideal for experimentation:

For field deployment, you may want to glue the M12 lens to avoid going out of focus.

For temporary adhesive, you can use a small drop of nail polish.

For a more long-lasting adhesive, you can use a threadlocker glue, such as Loctite 242.
