Based on the STM32MP157 MPU, the MPCam is a small “smart” camera designed to bridge the gap between development and rapid deployment of edge-CV applications.

The MPCam purposefully balances performance and BOM cost and is the perfect fit for taking experiments out of the lab and into the real world.

At the hardware level, the MPCam is composed of:

  • Octavo OSD32MP1 SiP which includes:

    • STMicroelectronics STM32MP157C:

      • 2x Cortex-A7 @ 650MHz

      • 1x Cortex-M4 @ 200MHz

    • 512MB DDR3

    • STPMIC1 (Power-Management IC)

    • Xtal / EEPROM

  • Coral Accelerator Module (coral.ai)

  • 5MP OV5640 image sensor

  • 2x IR LEDs

  • 4GB eMMc

  • SDCard (bootable)

  • Ethernet / USB Host

  • 1x digital MIC

  • IO Expansion Header
